I opened my window to my heart to her OS


but alas it krashed at start and i sent an SOS


I reinstalled my heart with an upgrade or two


but said it "i am so sorry sir ur blood groups dont match, the drivers r only a few "


So i got fed up and got in the expert


he said " there is so much damage she must have really hurt"


He formatted my memory but backed up her name


thinking after i klean up , my life would be the same


I went to her PC and knocked on the door


but there was a faster guy with her , whose version was 2.4


I said sorry i didnt know u had kompany to stay


and seems he represented microsoft and kept impressing her by telling " where to do want to go today "


Finally i have become outdated i feared


no one wants a 133 , as my market was kleared


I had no choice but to stay in standby mode


hoping the next girl i met would have a kompatible kode


As i was about to take the old BUS back home to DOS


i heard a sweet voice say " kan i kome with u , koz even i got a bad CMOS


Then we lived together happy and efficient


koz we understood that our processors still had a few reliable klient

...she asked me to look straight into her eyes

it was koldest of chennai days. i entered her room and felt warm.our eyes met, she asked me to sit next to her, she turned off the lights. only a yellow glow surrounded us. she asked me to remove my glasses. she touched my chin and asked me to kome kloser, i had to do it. i kould smell her perfume . her kurly hair had a halo around it, like sparks from fireworks. everything was a blur, they say love makes you blind. she asked me to look straight into her eyes, i kouldn't resist, i kouldn't blink. all of a sudden a flash of light as if she was piercing my eyes staring straight into my soul. she asked me to tilt my head and move forward towards her . i obliged and then ............

Booking tickets for The Dark Knight Rises - The Stress !!!

A dark night indeed. Storm , low power , thankfully no power outage. Sitting from way before midnight to wait for Satyam ticket site to open its flood gates to all those Batman fans out there. No i am not one of them , i am an exception , above them all !!! (or atleast i feel that way). Told wife i shouldn't be disturbed as the next 2 hours would be real sensitive time and precise calculations and permutations must be done to successfully get tickets from Satyam's site.

For some unknown reason Satyam has this policy of opening its online ticket booking on Wednesday . That's fine , they say start good things on wednesday for sentimental reasons and religious ( for all those poor souls born on Tuesdays :( ) . But opening the online kounters between 12:00 a.m to 01:00 a.m ??? Of course you are going to have chaos . People stopping their game of Counter Strike by committing suicide , some stopping all downloads to make way for bandwidth , some even skipping sex for tickets !!!

Anyhow Got ready to book tickets.

Time : 23:40
Tools : Chrome , IE , FireFox , Opera
Food : Kakkara and Pistascios

Started of with chrome and it went to the site without a hitch. Was curious to know how many people were actually online for this . Posted on FB and got responses slowly . I could hear the head shots people giving themselves in CS land.

Cool , not even 01:00 hundreds hours and i am in !!! ... or so i thought. I never seem to win those contests that show up well before the bookings too !!!

Feels a bit slow. Increase speed , almost like warp drive tech from star trek . no luck !!!

Time : 00:56 A.M

Somehow the system logged me out , so had to log back in , but was stuck on this for ages. Was in Nolan's Limbo as i couldn't ESC this screen nor proceed any further. F5 again :(

Time : 01:01 A.M

Might not be an issue with the internet i thought. Ok lemme check the system usage. Pretty high for my system. So closed a few windows and tried again. Firefox just seemed to hog memory without doing much , plus my personal content settings and custom font and colour sizes screwed up the system.  Opera on the other hand , had a neat option to reload the page after every customizable minutes. However one you reach the main page, i was unable to click on the movie option. DAMN !!!

Time : 01:08 A.M

Selecting the seats was the toughest part as i chose to select my own seats. Big mistake. These were the only seats i found available !!!

This was after the payment was made. So was the payment made or not ? Was the order done?

Finally victory. I can watch the movie in peace , without any 'idiot' trying to spoil the plot for me !!!

After all this , finally get a comment on FB where someone tagged me stating they got tickets for Friday nights show. I was like WTF , impossible. Went in again to double check for cancelled tickets for Friday nights show . Let the system do the booking and finally got two tickets for FRIDAY !!! Yes, but No . Why??? Almost like watching the movie back to back . as it ends at 01:00 and next movie starts at 09:30 . That too without watching the trailer or reading anything about it.

Kraziness I tell you !!!

And after all this effort , i get a call from a popular food joint the next day stating i got invited to a special screen of the movie for Saturday morning !!!

The Dark Knight Rises : Why the legend will not end here

So you have batman out of action for 8 years, Gotham all happy and in control and then few things happen that starts moving things around for batman to return.

People might complain about batman dropping the costume off all these years. For one , if you are a real hero , you would want villains of the week and continue fighting till your really old or your side kick is ready for action. But he is a superhero, self sacrifice seems to be the prime objective for them. He wanted to clean up the city with a symbol . He was that symbol , but once other started using that symbol for evil , he knew this has to change. How , let the white knight be the hero. Dent's legacy and the lies behind his death will ensure more is done by people of gotham and the police to stop villains emerging . That's what batman is all about. That's what any good person willing to do a deed is all about. Once his work is done , go quietly back to his life. But that was tough for wayne as he was and has always been scarred too deep in life.

Most superheroes have a tragic background and they don't want that tragedy struck upon others. These people are similar to the other heroes we see in real life . You had world leaders and peace activist strive a lot and for long for change. Once they brought the change , and showed the light , the people just did not know what to do with the light . Most of them were fighting against having their people under a master . But most don't realise is that people what exactly that , but in a different form , a leader , someone to look upto. They just don't know how to live their lives by themselves.

What after 8 years of clean gotham. People lead their normal lives. But inside 2 things were brewing. The majority of middle / lower class were just stuck in their own routine , but still felt they were being oppressed by the higher classes . Even though this was not an oppression by force. They felt generalised the term oppression and hence reached a melting point in society where chaos rules . But out of chaos comes another kind of order and people take this for being better than what they had. Bane knew this and this was exactly what the league of shadows were all about as well. The other thing brewing was that you still have people who were corruptable and willing to go to any lengths to fullfill their greed. Hence you had the corrupt , cash rich using their resources for their own evil. But like Bane said , just paying him some money didn't make daggett own him , It was the other way around Daggett showed his weakness towards Bane and that was enough for Bane to start the fire.

Was written that for evil to rise , the good people had to just do nothing . All the good that wayne foundation was doing was of no use as they just lost hope and did not strive to do the good / correct thing in life. If wayne had left batman altogether and continued as wayne , maybe all this destruction in TDKR would have not existed in the first place. This reflects our own society in a way . We were oppressed and liberated more than half a century ago , yet we still feel we were better off being ruled over and we seem to be running like headless chickens . People don't and might never realise what they have until it is taken away from them. Bane wanted to show this , hence held them all hostage and then planned to annihilate them all. Even in today's world people wish for revolution and some spark or fire to motivate them , change them. But more often than not , that spark or fire is started by evil which they interpret as good , just because its different. What next after TDKR , Gotham still needs a symbol , a saviour , someone to show them the way and this cycle will keep continuing , unless people themselves realise they keep repeating history and should take an alternate route in life.

One thing people didn't like was the fact that wayne was alive , even though batman was dead. Our history is full of empires grown to the peak and fallen. You have some sections of people who still want something bad to happen , so that good will rise out of it. The answer though is , you don't need something to latch on to , to rise , just rise from where you are , without the rope !!!
